I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
